THE STORY BEHIND THE METHOD

My Story

My passion for health and performance began through sport. Graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Sports Science and having the opportunity to compete at international level gave me experiences that shaped my understanding of the dedication, resilience and consistency required to achieve long-term success.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a diverse range of individuals — from Olympians and international rugby teams to people simply wanting to improve their everyday health. More recently, my focus has expanded to supporting individuals living with medical conditions, helping them use evidence-based nutrition and exercise to improve their quality of life.

As an MNU Certified Nutritionist, I believe that advice should always be grounded in science, tailored to the individual and practical enough to become part of everyday life.

My work is also deeply personal. I live with an autoimmune form of arthritis and, like millions of others, I’m learning to manage a lifelong condition. I understand that good health isn’t about chasing perfection — it’s about making informed decisions, adapting to challenges and finding ways to continue living the life you want.

I’ve also experienced the impact that chronic illness can have on families, having lost friends and loved ones to medical conditions. Those experiences have strengthened my belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live as well as possible for as long as possible.

That is why GP Nutrition & Fitness exists.
